Great outside patio, I always bring my dog! They have amazing specials and great pizza. The management is so responsive and ensure you enjoy your meal. Love love love this place!

Pretty solid offering (finally) in this space in East Cobb. The restaurant is very family friendly, and the wait staff is pretty attentive. The only reason I give this restaurant 4 stars is because a couple items I have ordered were surprisingly bland. For instance, I really wanted to like their fried chicken sandwhich - all of the different ingredients should have made this sandwich extremely flavorful, but it didn't have much flavor - it was just there.But onto the positive - other menu items I have tried are very good. I recommend the burger, the meatball appetizer, fries, margarita pizza (lots of good, garlicky flavor), and the street tacos appetizer. I thoroughly enjoy the street tacos and highly recommend them (see picture) - loaded with flavor and good to share, or as a lunch. And there are a good handful of items I still want to try.I hope this place makes it - they've got my business.

Quality, fresh tasting food. Pizza's are solid and can be split between two people.

Only one thing struck me as I strolled out the backdoor of this new eatery onto the suspended deck over looking a medium sized body of water... Is this a lake... or a pond? Oddly enough size has nothing to do with the nomenclature. Seriously?! Yeah... I was gobsmacked. Limnology dictates that a pond, unlike a lake, consist of a contiguous photic zone. In laymen terms... a pond is a body of water shallow enough for light to hit the bottom and 'theoretically' allow for plants to grow. Glad we got that out of the way. But what does this 'pond' out back have to do with anything. Well since this is a summer camp styled restaurant, you can imagine the connection and influence is apparent in the design aesthetic.SCORE: PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

Didn't expect much, but surprise with good choices: Little mini steak tacos. Linguine Alfredo and Build your own Pizza. Well done!

Late night stop on Labor Day evening. Staff was inviting and friendly. Bartender Matt very attentive and great suggestions as always. Great ambience/food/staff. Can’t ask for more from a solid neighborhood spot.

Camps is such a cozy haunt with excellent food and a super-nice staff. When you’re there, it feels like a little respite from the city. We’re regulars, and tonight we tried the cauliflower crust pizza—and somehow, Camps made cauliflower TASTE LIKE PIZZA. It was sensational. They put that kind of love into every dish they make. The little steak tacos are one dozen bites of pure perfection. The bar is a wonderfully mellow perch, and bartenders Ted and Matt serve up perfectly mixed cocktails with a dash of humor and a shake of fun. Great guys; get them talking and you’ll feel like they’re your favorite cousins.

Good food service price

This is a great place to enjoy a drink and great food. The ambience is pleasant and inviting. Definitely a place worth visiting over and over again

Came here for a get together and I ate a straight up burger and it was so good. And had a Caesar salad with it yummm. Definitely coming back again.

I'm vegan and had a pasta dish with tomato sauce which was delicious. For the appetizer I ordered the hummus with veggies. The hummus was awesome. They have a very cozy bar area with sofas and TV. Highly recommend.

Used to come to this location in the 90's when it was Houck's. Atmosphere: Nice redesign and use of the space. Upscale, but comfortable. Great use of stone and wood. Menu: Something for everyone's taste. Great quite bar space with bar and table seating in the front with a good selection of wine and scotch. Family friendly atmosphere.

Just had a delicious take out meal with cheerful curb service from Mary. In this crazy time, it was a lovely reminder of what life used to be like. Thanks for the yummy dinner! Support the restaurant if you can!

I came here with family on a Friday night, and we all had a great experience. The chicken bosco was really tasty, and the service was excellent as well. We were served very quickly, which I also appreciated. All in all, Camps is a great place with some local flavor that stands out against the sea of chain restaurants in East Cobb.

I really have enjoyed my last few times coming to Camps. This visit it was my daughter and I and we sat indoors at a booth. The service was excellent! My daughter and I both had pizza. She had the cheese pizza and I had the spring break cauliflower crust pizza. Both were excellent! My visit before that was about 3 weeks prior for a girls night out. We sat on the patio which I love doing when the weather permits. We had a blast and enjoyed cocktails and all sorts of different items off the menu. I highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer! I will definitely be coming back frequently.

We went in for Nashville fried chicken and biscuits but it was Saturday and they serve it for Sunday brunch! Otherwise the ambience is good.

The food is amazing and the place is warm and inviting. Patio was lovely and the service was great. I'll definitely be back.
